On the 3rd of August, the PrIMAVeRa consortium convened a virtual stakeholder meeting, organised by the Institute of Health Carlos III and European Vaccine Initiative (EVI) to engage immunization experts, such as representatives from the pharmaceutical industry who decide whether to invest and develop vaccines and monoclonal antibodies; and policymakers, public health professionals, and researchers who make decision on introduction and use of vaccines and monoclonal antibodies (mAbs).

The objectives of the meeting were to introduce the PrIMAVeRa project, present the various models and cost-effectiveness analyses of vaccines and mAbs impact on AMR and importantly to receive feedback from participants on dashboard visualisations.

During the meeting various models were presented to estimate the impact of selected vaccines and monoclonal antibodies on AMR, including the reduction of health burden associated with AMR, impact on antibiotic use, and reduction in costs of treatment associated with AMR.

A generic model to assess the impact of bacterial vaccines on antibiotic resistance, highlighting the generic model outline, structure and the evaluated scenarios.

Health economic evaluations were presented, including cost-effectiveness analyses of modelled vaccines and monoclonal antibodies, explaining how the impact of bug-drug-infection combinations and impact of interventions are used to determine the most cost-effective intervention option with the objective of deciding which option delivers the most health gain for the least cost.

All modelling results will be displayed in a dashboard, which aims to be accessible, user friendly, and flexible to allow user to explore own scenarios and understand the impact of vaccines and monoclonal antibodies on AMR for various pathogens.

Finally a stakeholder feedback session was held to allow participants to give feedback on how to refine the current dashboard outputs, add fields which may be of added value and improve transparency to prioritise AMR- specific outcomes.
